Final Area

Cavern Hallway

Take the four Torches on the walls. There are two exits to this room, but you’re going to want to avoid the one on the left. Unless you like dying, of course. To progress with your life intact, Move to the exit at the back of the room.

Gargoyle Room

There are two gargoyles straight ahead. Those aren’t just statues, but we’ll deal with them later. Move through the exit on the right.

Lava Room

This room may seem daunting, since the only way out is blocked by lava. Also, there’s a scary demon statue towering over you. Luckily there’s a simple solution to this particular problem. Use or Speak the Motari spell to make a path appear, then cross the bridge.

Lever Cavern

The goal here is to manipulate the levers to make the pillar in the room open up. The solution was given to you on the stairs in the Sphynx room. Worry not, for I shall reveal the answer here if you did not write it down before. Use the right lever, then Use the center one, then finally Use the right lever again. Take the Orb that is revealed (aka the Silver Orb mentioned in Scroll 1). Move back to the Gargoyle Room.

Gargoyle Room

Time to deal with those pesky gargoyles so we can get through that center door. Use or Speak Illumina to stun the gargoyles, then Move through the door between them.

Well Room

As far as I know, there’s no way to open the door in this room. Open the well, then Use the Big Coin on it. This creates an updraft which allows you to hop down into the well unscathed. Move into the well.

Underground River

There’s a gong just sitting there in the open, and a mallet hanging on its side. Use the mallet on the gong to summon the Ferryman. Use one of your Goldcoins on the Ferryman, then Move onto the raft and he’ll shuttle you across.

Skull Door

Three Talisman-shaped slots, but which to use? Remember the clue from the Book you found in the Library? “The seed of the dream, fore the evil is free, where the sword is hung, he must place the key.” Use the Talisman on the slot under the sword picture. Scroll 1 said “The last to invoke, the Platinum Horn,” so Use the Horn and the skull door will open. Move through.

Great Chasm

Gasp, it’s the Worlock Lord! We’ve arrived just in time to see him summon the most terrifying Behemoth that the NES could render. Are we too late?!

We are not. Think back to Scroll 1: “Five to find, three to one.” We’ve used two items already: the Talisman and the Horn. This leaves us with the Staff, the Blade, and the Orb. Reading again from Scroll 1 give us the clue: “The Silver Orb, to banish below. The Staff of Ages, to vanquish the foe. Joining two, the Golden Blade.” This give you your build order, mostly. The Blade joins two, so to start construction Use the Blade on the Staff, and the two will merge. Now Use the Orb on the Staff, and they also merge. Three to one, and now we have the legendary Staff of Ages! Use the Staff on the Behemoth to end the reign of the Warlock Lord before it can begin.

Now just Enjoy the ending!
